I am the daughter of man disgraced. Because he could not keep his eyes and hands to himself our lands and my birthright and his life were forfeit. Thus I was given over to others to raise and my brothers were pressed into military service and I have not seen them since.
I found myself a maid to a Roman women but dreamed of a life that I could never have. Thus one day upon hearing the story of my fathers disgrace I ran away.
It has been a hard life I have led but I do not complain much. I only wish I had a home and a family to call my own. But that I may never have.
