Greetings, weary traveler, and welcome to my humble home. Is it chance which has brought you here... or was it curiosity that prompted you to call? I know that to some, the idea of a lady philosopher may be a strange one (though there are more of us than you might imagine!); perhaps you are here for a Socratic exchange.
Whatever your circumstance, please relax, and I will call for wine and cakes. After all, nowhere is it written that the journey to wisdom must be made on an empty stomach (a sentiment with which my kinsman Socrates would have agreed, though I sometimes find his erstwhile acolyte, Plato, to be a bit on the aescetic side). When you are refreshed and ready, we can move into the Courtyard to become better acquainted, and thence to the Library for some serious philosophizing. Finally, before you depart, you must stop at my Study, where I indulge my rare playful moods.
Like the music in my rooms? It comes from the Suite for Flute and Harp by Roberto Di Marino.
