NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and an almost fanatical devotion to Sextus Crassus.
In the early days of the 21st century, to combat the rising tide of religious unorthodoxy, the Pope gave Inquisitor Salisc of Germania leave to move without let or hinderence throughout the land, in a reign of violence, terror and torture that makes for a really great persona. This is the Holy Inquisition!
You - the peoples of Rome, Hellas, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Celtia, the Orient and the Americas, are hereby charged that you did on diverse dates (to be investigated after supper) did commit heresy against the Holy Sextus Crassus.
All suspected of heresy shall be investigated, arrested, subjected to the ordeals of water and the cleansing Holy flames of good and righteousness; be tried by an ecclesiastical tribunal and so be purged of their heretical thoughts. Those who fail to prove their innocence shall naturally be given the chance to recant their pagan heretical beliefs before being burned to a crisp.
