Hotep! Welcome to my Hair Salon and Barber Shop! Many people like long hair and often elaborate hairstyles. In many cases the hair we chose to have fake hair. That is why I am opening a hair salon. We Egyptians have a good reason for creating wigs: lice. UGH! The tiny bug relies on direct contact with the blood vessels of the scalp to survive. Wearing hairpieces effectively thwarted the pest. Wigs were practical solutions to other problems, too, such as disguising deformities and making hairstyling simpler. We love ornate hairstyles, but it is more practical to give your hair to someone to style.
