Welcome to the construction site for my Great Pyramid. My name is Medjedu Khnum Khufu, but the Greeks will one day call me Cheops.
If you want to join one of our crews, consult my architect, the Vizier Hemiunu. He is over at the workers' village. We are currently mapping out plans for my Chief Wife Merityotes' pyramid.
Some say I am cruel, but I get the job done. In the future, Herodotus pays heed to the priests. He will say I brought all sorts of woe to my people. Even Manetho will gossip. But do I really enlave thousands to do my bidding? Find out.
My sons are Kawab, Khufukhaf, Minkhaf, Djedefhor, Djedefre and Khafre (Chephren).
