Greetings, my fellow Ancient Lake and Sea dwellers. I am JackMiraculous Malachus, Cichlid of Malawi, Africa. Some call me Pseudotropheus Saulosi. Some call me dwarf mbuna. Some call me red-red, and some call me small-blue, some even call me Zebra but you can call me Lake. I live here with my mate, Boopie. Sometimes, we argue over whose cave this really is, but everyone knows I am the boss!

I'm a very bright yellow-peachy-orange color right now, because I'm still growing. Oh, I'm already man enough all right, but by the time I reach full size, I'll turn a rich azure blue with black stripes. Some of my stripes are already starting to show. Boopie? She will remain this pretty color. That's how my family was discovered, you know.

It's said some scuba diving fella named Konings noticed us swimming against a strong current. The yellow-orange of our girls caught his eye. But why he named everything after his tour guide Saulos Mwale is beyond me. He shoulda named it all "Lake's Lake".
