Marhaban! As you wander through my house you will discover places that serve as my homebase for certain activities.
In the Courtyard I conduct my social activities, and this is the place to rest your weary feet and enjoy some refreshments. In case I'm not at home, please help yourself to whatever you fancy, just don't rely on my servants to wait on you as they seem to be on (constant) vacation. My Library is stuffed to capacity, but see for yourself. Finally, in my Study you will someday find my game playing scores, statistics and artifacts.
Thanks for visiting my home!

This flask, containing attar of roses, is one of the countless wonderful gifts by the no less wonderful Mehdi of Persia.

A treasured gift from Mauricius Fabius
For Lunar New Year Senex Caecilius wrote a wonderful poem, a traditional Vietnamese cau doi. I post it here with his permission.
Out with wintry, doleful dreariness;
In with vernal, chirpy cheeriness!

A gift from Sextus Crassus
