A friend through the door of eternal light
To welcome us in on such a night
Come one and all to the home of me
Content and happy I wish you to be
See the court of brick and stone
Poems you will find to make you moan
To speak and sing in tales long
Or at least until night and a dong
The house of books is worthy of looks
Filled with many empty crannies and nooks
Soon there will be things worthy of old
To be thrown out in trash like worthless mold
A place of learning, writing, and crying
Is allways open to your nosey prying
Not much else to see and do
An empty room stands for you
I hate poems that rhyme, and this one is bad
Just finnish it up and be forever glad
That no matter what, it is gone for good
Like something writen on charred wood
Yes I know, it was a five minute thing, and yes I know it looks like it was written by a first year washout scribe. I will endevour to get a better one done. So... just think of it as a place holder.
seeing jade walls
across my new starlit home
I hope for rest now
(much better)
