Peregrina's Journals

Salve! All are welcome to visit my humble domus, whether to relax or engage in a lively discussion.

I am a lover of wisdom, a philosopher. As a child, our Greek slave taught me many ideas. Once I was able to read Greek, the philosophy just flowed off the paper. Plato, of course, and Epicurius are quite entertaining to read, and I've lately been reading Epictetus. I run a small school from the house, and you are welcome to browse my large collection of papyrii.

So please, stop and rest, and enjoy yourself. Leave me a note, and I will happily engage in a correspondence!

"Men are not disturbed by things, but the view they take of things."
-Epictetus

"Most men are within a finger's breadth of being mad."
-Diogenes the Cynic

"Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish."
-Euripides

"I have often regretted my speech, never my silence."
-Xenocrates
