Namaste! I am a child of two worlds: the place of my birth in the Caucasus Mountains, and the most beautiful place on earth, Kashmir, my home.
Since I was but an infant when my mother was brought into this valley that the Emperor Jeghandir called "paradise on earth," I do not remember the Caucasus. I saw my birthplace only through my mother's eyes.
So very beautiful was she, is she still, that one of the Khans took her for his own, and raised me as if I were his own daughter, and so do I love him as my father.
Do I truly know who and what I am? Perhaps some day, more of me will be revealed. But for now, I am Padme, and it is enough.
I would like to thank Maiko, otherwise known as Legendary Geisha Tokugawa, for befriending me and helping me to make my home as lovely as I hoped it might be. Much gratitude, dear graceful friend.
