I am Demetrius, head servant of her household. My mistress is not at home at the moment.However, I will be more than glad to bring you around the house if you would excuse her absence. Pardon the mess. We have just moved in.

You are welcome to stay as long as you want. And shall you need to leave my Mistress a message, I will gladly take it for you and I assure you she will receive it once she returns. And rest assured, she replies as possible as she can. My Mistress loves to visit homes whenever she returns so she will be delighted should you invite her to have a look at yours.

Or perhaps you have an urgent message to send to my Mistress? In that case, give one of the slaveboys your message and let them run to her immediately.

I'm afraid our Oikos is not as hospitable as it should be. We are still doing some renovation: the kitchen are being improved and a guest house being erected, hence the noise. My Mistress also plan to enlarge the library. There are many improvements being done and hopefully we will finish by the end of May! Do come again by that time and you'd probably be able to enjoy your stay more!
