Khairete, hoí phíloi, to my Oikos!
I belong to the Aristophanes family by marriage.
Before I married, I was Atheena Harmodios.
This was actually the name of my foster parents.
In reality, my real mother was Aspasia and my father was Pericles, though I never knew him, for he died shortly before I was born.
Mother, wishing to keep me safe in those perilous days enlisted the help of Socrates, who whisked her away to the oikos of his mother, who was a midwife.
After I was born, Socrates found a loyal friend of my father, who agreed to take me in. They raised me until their deaths, both within three months of each other.
As you wander through my house you will discover places that serve as my homebase for certain activities. In the Courtyard I conduct my social activities here at AncientWorlds and in Athens.
My Library is for my historical and academic pursuits.
Finally, in my Study you will find my game playing scores,
statistics and artifacts.
