I am Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. I am also known as Pallas Athena and Athene. My father is Zeus - my mother, Metis - Zeus's first wife.

My uncle, Poseidon, and I are both fond of Greece, especially Athens, named after me. Poseidon and I had a contest to see who could claim the city as their patron city - hehehe - I won! I gave Athens the Olive Tree as a gift. Poseidon provided a spring from a cliff, but the water was salty, like the sea. So I am the patron Goddess of Athens and I possess the Aegis. We are both loved by the Greeks though.

My companion is Nike, the goddess of victory. My usual attribute is the owl.

As you enjoy my palace in my earthly domain, be careful not to disturb my dwelling. You may see me delighting under the pleasant rays from Apollo's Chariot or practicing my skills as a warrior. I take on human form to delight in mortal pleasures and hone my skills as an accomplished warrior. And, yes...I am known as the virgin mother of Erichthnonius - interesting yes? That's why I'm also know for my wisdom. *EG*
