Across the river and up a long gentle slope is an ancient ring of stones. Looking eastward from the altar stone, through the processional way, you can see the largest of the offshore islands, crowned by a rough stone cairn. Looking to the west, the prominence of Knowth appears in the gap carved by the Bionne.

Though the ring is relatively small, there is plenty or room for all the locals and any friends who might have dropped by. Animals and crop wagons must remain outside the ring until the priest calls them in for the blessing. This is by decree of Rian Flidais, after too many folk complaining of mashed toes!
