    People say the darndest things, or they will once you add some appropriate text to them.. Or images, or just screw them up and add silly bits!

    Caption Contest, Roman style!

    Most of us have seen various incarnations of the "Caption Contest" throughout the site even back to AncientSites years. This one is pretty much the same, here's how it works:

    • We'll post the image (right here in fact), you take it home (virtually speaking) and do strange things to it.
    • You'll add your own text to the image or alter it, adding bits, deleting bits, whatever you like.
    • Upload your new image and post it in this thread, or alternately (if you have no graphics proggies) simply copy the image code available, and add your caption text to your post.

      • Just remember, it's all in good fun!

      The new image for the summer is of "Augustus" and "Caligula" in the Rome Subway, but your captions don't need to mention them as themselves; be creative and have fun! ;)
