    Vasant Panchami is celebrated during the Magha lunar month (January to February) to welcome in the first signs of spring and to honor the Goddess Saraswati. Open this thread up fully to learn more and how we are celebrating it in AW!

    This is our indian festival in honor of Saraswati, goddess of knowledge, science, river waters,learning and music. We are also preparing ourselfs for the coming of the Spring. So, if you want to celebrate this holiday honoring the Goddess, dress in yellow or wear a marigold strand:

    - Colorize your avatar by Demetria Xanthippos
    - Marigold strand tutorial by Lalita Ashoka

    - In a Gods' World: Once upon a time in India. A writting event where you can change the destiny of the gods. Based in an hindu tale pre-established, you have to continue the story. Our poets can also participate.:) It's just for fun! This event will continue after the end of the festival for those who could be interested to continue or don't have time to participate right now.

    - Hindu Gods Quiz: made by our Feiyan Zhou with lots of curious information about hinduism deities.

    - Kublai Khantina Jukebox (with indian music), where you can dance and eat indian until the end of the festival.
