Young llama's are allowed to be carried:
A young llama is a llama who's back is lower or at the same height as Sapa Inca's waist. This will be measured on the day of the race itself.
'Carrying' means transporting the llama up the mountain by placing him/her across the back of your neck, or cradled in your arms. No artificial addatives like slings or sacks or indeed any kind of 'fabric' are allowed.
Otherwise, the llama is to be lead, tempted, persuaded or dragged by means of a rope halter.
No overtaking on the corners
No offerings are allowed on the day before the race
Officials are not subject to bribes (you can try, but they will take your money and smile at you)
A spitting llama that is hindering a fellow contestant will be getting a 'stop and go' penalty
Official complaints are to be made only to Sapa Inca himself, but I am not responsible for the consequences.
There will be a prize for the best dressed llama.
The first llama standing on its own four feet, in an upright position,at the top of the mountain, along with his/her owner, in a similar condition to the llama, shall be declared the winning entrants.
