An open conclave will be held at The Citadel for the duration of one moon beginning on Beltane. We enjoin you to attend and decide what is to be done for your people.
It is rumored the Roman, Julius Caesar, whom you all know, has set his sights on further conquest and already the tribes of our land are in turmoil. You must decide where your loyalties go, to the Romans or to your fathers. We need horses, so bring as many as you can spare. There is scarcely time for breeding. The fight will be long and hard and the time grows short to prevent disaster.
We are calling for archers, lancers, horsemen and charioteers; smiths, woodworkers, weavers and tanners are needed to provide clothing, armor and weapons. We need stockpiles of food and supplies of every kind and the stores are critically low. This harvest must be the biggest. Our merchants and messengers must follow the winds of change and bring us news of the movements.
We have prepared for your arrival at The Citadel for the Beltane feast, and after that, our conclave will begin.
