Mother of Apples Treasure Hunt

The treasure hunt in the Celtia hoods for magickal herbs and the Mother of Apples begins at noon on Saturday, May 10!

Can you find the Mother of Apples?

The herbalists of Airmid's Well have traveled all over Celtia to gather special magickal plants for the Night Market. If you can follow the clues and trace their route, you will be able to gather the same plants, which will enable you at the end of the treasure hunt to find the grand prize - the Mother of Apples!

This is a real treasure because the apple is a symbol of good luck and fertility. What makes the Mother of Apples so special is that the farmers of Brittany traditionally left one last apple on the highest branch in the orchard as an offering of hope for the next summer's harvest. Whoever wins the Mother of Apples is sure to have a fruitful year!

Treasure Hunt Rules:

1. Sign up on the contest page.

2. The treasure hunt will officially begin at noon on Saturday (May 10) AWT. The first clue will be posted on this thread.

3. The "treasures" will be hidden in the 'hoods of Celtia, not in anyone's homes or properties. The clues will contain hints about these locations.

4. Each clue leads to the next treasure. Click on the treasure plaque to go to the next clue.

5. When you have gathered all 12 plants and found the Mother of Apples, email their names, locations and URLs to motherofapples@yahoo.com. The first three persons who send a correct list in the order of the clues WIN.


Closing date: The contest closes at noon on Sunday (May 11) AWT. Winners will be announced on this thread. Enjoy the hunt!
