Verbs are the most complex part of any language as, unlike other elements, they have so many forms. Because of this, they are the most difficult and time-consuming to master. This is true of the Egyptian language. In some ways Egyptian verbs are simpler than English ones but more complex in others.
There are two kinds of verbs as there are in English: transitive and intransitive verbs.
The list below shows the distinctions between the various verb forms ~ explanations of these will be posted when time permits. In time, this should become (hopefully!) better organised - for the moment, verbs are placed in no special order.
