Nuoc Nam - Popular condiment consumed with nearly every meal made from fermented small, whole fish and seafoods in clay bins for up to 2 years, then siphoned off, filtered and bottled. And you thought Scottish food was based on a dare?World travellers who have formed a fondness for the unique culture and friendly people of Vietnam are familiar with it's interesting cuisine, street foods and strange ingredients. Describe the service, the food, how you managed to choke it down (or not!), your enjoyment of the cuisine (hey, maybe you liked it!), your surroundings if you wish. But whatever you do, don't insult your hosts! They worked very hard to prepare these dishes and besides, one man's dog food may be another man's delicacy.![]()
