    PARTICIPANTS' GUIDELINES

    Categories

  • Poetry
  • Horror Storytelling
  • General Fiction

    Contest Rules:

    1. There will be three "Bard of the Bogs" winners, one in each category, all using the theme of Bog Bodies.

    2. Sign up on the contest page to be eligible for a prize.

    3. For inspiration or research, there are six different bog bodies that will take up residence here in the Croghan Hill neighborhood during Samhain.

    4. Compositions may be based on any of them but this is not a requirement.

    5. Keep the length of submissions within 1,000 words.

    6. Enter as often as you like. The contest will be open for the duration of Celtia's Samhain festival. Please post all enteries on this thread with the category your are entering - "Poetry", "Horror Storytelling" or "General Fiction" - in the title.

    7. The deadline will be midnight of November 3.

    8. The three winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. Current Scribes and Demigods are welcome to participate but according to sitewide rules they are not eligible for prizes.

    9. As with any posts in Ancient Worlds, the Contest Rules and Code of Conduct should be honored.
