Originally, the Haustblót took place at the equinox, on 23 September that is. But as this festival will be part of the sitewide anniversary cruise of the Golden Phoenix we took the liberty of adjusting the date a little for our purposes... The Germanic port of call for the cruise will be Hedeby, also known as Haithabu or Haddeby, which means that we are going Viking! This venue - once one of the major Viking trading places - should offer a great variety for all kinds of activities. After all, the Viking loved games!
