Not much is said on Second Life here yet. However, it should be a very interesting thing to look at from this community's point of view.
Second Life is a Virtual World in which you can create 3D environments, create 3D avatars and interact. Second Life might be particularly interesting to this site because Second Life offers so much freedom in adding content.
For example, you could (quite easily) build Rome, Hellas, Egypt, Mesopotamia,Celtia, Germania and the Orient Americas there so we'd all have an actual 3D environment in which we could place and act our roleplays, hold our festivals etcetera.
I've been terrible at keeping up with Ancient Sites due to lots and lots of work, fortunately work includes virtual worlds these days, so I've pretty much gotten to know what can and can't be done in Virtual Worlds. I'd say there's a chance it might make this community immortal ;)
