I saw the Hindi film Johnny Gaddar (Johnny the traitor) recently, and I enjoyed it. It is a fast paced, and well directed thriller.

It caught my interest right from the start, with its stylish, retro-seventies hindi film-type titles.

I'm wondering if anyone else here has seen it yet?

I also like older Japanese films. The movie Kwaidan especially had some very stunning visuals.

I've seen most of Kurosawa Akira's work, and one of my favourites among his movies is Ran. I liked that movie because it has haunting visuals. Throne of Blood is one that I like as well. Ikiru is one film that sticks in my mind.
