Eheu! I gave in and subscribed, partly so I could post for help (2 post limit for someone as verbose as me? Mehercle!) and partly so I could upload another image despite the problem. :)

Anyway. I uploaded a .jpg avatar, discovered the compression glitch, uploaded it as a .gif, tried to delete the .jpg, but now AW insists that there's a reference to the .jpg SOMEWHERE so it can't be deleted.

It says it's giving me a link to show me where that reference is, but there's no working link.
