The story of the Volsungs was originally written in the Icelandic old Norse language around the 13th century AD. This manuscript also contains excerpts from the Poetic Edda and is composed of songs now mostly lost to oral traditions. I very much hope you will enjoy reading this ancient great Northern epic.
