I suppose I shall be the counter-part to Asherah. Serena Tanningbalm is on the rebel side. She is the Professor of Ancient Arts; and ancient form of the white magic. She is strongest in healing and botany. Unlike some of her colleagues, Serena is strictly a magical person. Although she uses the techie stuff, she relies almost solely on her magic for most daily chores.

Serena is short - 1.5 meters tall (5 feet) - and has blonde hair, green eyes. She is about 35 years old (ancient to any youngster such as Haleema) and widowed. She suspects her husband may have met with an untimely end when he left her to become the lover of a Daemon who promised him wealth and power. One day he came back to the caves, already three-quarters dead by some unnamable poison.

Try as she might, and some thought maybe she didn't try as hard as she could, the poison was no match for Serena's healing magic. Ever since that episode three years ago, the seed of distrust had been sown. Some really believed she'd tried her hardest. Others could never be convinced as to the purity of her heart and healing.
