Well the point of translating these words is basically different names for a my band. we have been trying to find a good bandname for a really long time. And what we play is played in egyptian-based scales, so i am trying to find out how to translate these words and then combine them with the first word in our band which is "Anasazi" which is supposed to be old indian language for "ancient".

It may sound silly, but we really like the egyptian language and it fit our choice of music really well. We are trying to describe our mysterious sounding hardrock with a name that is truly "us" so we have searched for a little over one year to find a good name, haha. We have recorded our album, the name is the only thing left i guess.

the context for the word "future" would be... ill give you a piece of one of our older lyrics to give you an idea of what im looking for:

"The mistakes of the past will be repeated only when the past is forgotten. The future lies in our hands, let us not make it a mistake of the past. Let the past and the future be today."... it really does sound like its written while being affected by some kind of drug, haha, but i can assure you, that isnt the case.

So still any help is very welcome. As is said, it is just a bandname, however you may aswell be naming our band for alot of years to come, haha.

The word "world" would be combined with the word "ancient" so perhaps the word "ancient" would make the translation easier. Will the form of all the words that you gave me change, should i add "ancient" in front of the word? And while im at it, it doesnt seem like the older egyptian language has that many "time forms" so perhaps the word "ancient" itself does not exist?

    Ancient sands
    Ancient world
    Ancient Time(s)

"Ta" has an interesting sound to it.

    "Shey,Shay" Also could work.

I thank you for your help mirjam, and all the help you can give us is welcomed with open arms.

    /Stefan Sjöberg
