Salvete Magistrae Magistrique omnes
I have a question about the suffix -ensis (no, not the gladius.) I came from a very rocky little place called Saxum; when I traveled, I became Marcus Tertius Saxumiensis. Now that I am in Roma, I have become Marcus Tertius Romensis. I want to know if this is a nominative adjective, treated as a genitive, or what. Does it decline? If I do something, is it a Marco Romensi factum, or Romensis? What is the rule with -ensis versus -iensis? What can you tell me?
Gratias multas vobis semper ago!
Valete
Marcus
