At the moment in RL, I design and maintain databases: multidimensional, relational and hierarchical on a variety of platforms. Its not terribly exciting work, but I find that the way objects and data connect in various structures lends itself to understanding construction methods. And when RL experience fails to shed light on how something is built, I'm armed with the Illustrated Dictionary of Building. *L*
