Like their mate, they rush at me one by one showing off their courage to the crowd. The first bestiarius almost gashes me with his spear but I come away unscathed. It is not long before it is all over. The three men are down. I slowly pace around the circle as the crowd whispers… The whispers turn to CHEERS and I understand their praise. As I am about to lay down and rest, the door opens and six men walk out. I ready myself and continue again...
