I´m posting a list of female names for the benefit of our roleplayers. Please feel free to chose and use as you like!

These names are known from New Kingdom, Dynasty 18-19. Of course there were many more names and many of them, just like today, went a long time back.

We have learnt that female names ended with a 't'. Please note that that is not always the case. Also male names can end this way, like female names can end without the suffix -t. No fixed rules then, only a generality. Remember too, that often there are more than one way of spelling an Egyptian word, so varieties are quite ok.

Sources are: "Who´s Who in Ancient Egypt" - Michael Rice, "The Complete Royal Families of Ancient Egypt" - Dodson/Hilton and various other books ffloating around my desk :)
