Perhaps, but aside from the infidelities of Augustus' daughter and granddaughter, which has already been done so nicely in I, Claudius, twenty-some years ago, all we'd be left with is the tedious Augustan poetry of that suck-up Horace and his ilk. Do not even get me started on Virgil...
