I played catch-up with all yesterday's posts - we had our FIRST warm spring Saturday and I worked in the garden, pace ancient history of all kinds, British sports results, etc. - and ya'll had quite a run! I particularly love Bryan's 'scholarly terms' and Aulus' mentioning of that arcane but intellectual Americanism, "Yo' mamma."

Thank you to everyone who posted, discussed, and pondered this week. It was marvelously done, no one shed blood, and I think we all enjoyed it tremendously. Bryan, you win the "Frabjous Scholar" AW award. Thank you!
