"Prince Kamiros, I thank you for your kindness. I fear there is little that any of us can do at this point. My mother is in good hands but we are still all worried about what plagues her. However, it appears she is doing better this morning. Thank you both for being here," I say, addressing both the prince and Nikolaos.

"If you will all excuse me for a few minutes, I will return shortly," my brother says shortly and rather mysteriously.

I watch as he jogs away and then turn back to the others.

"I wonder what he is up to now," I almost laugh.

"A pressing matter of state perhaps," the prince replies.

Megara soon joins us.

"How is your Lady Mother?" she asks.

"She is exhausted from a long, difficult night, but she is able to rest now."

"Tell her that I wish her a speedy recovery. Is your brother still with her?" she asks quietly.

"No. He left a few moments ago stating he would return shortly. Ah, and here he comes now!"

In Darius' hands are some lovely wildflowers that he approaches with and stops in front of Megara. With a flourish of a bow, he presents them to her. I watch and smile as she blushes deeply. For the moment, I feel a touch of envy at her having a man who brings her flowers.
