but that's one of the things that makes these works so intriguing. :) I can't imagine how one would go about making family trees of the characters involved in these novels.

currently, I'm almost done with The Mistress of Husaby. I find myself dreaming and speaking in the archaic language of that translation -- "fain this", "I trow this" *grin*
