I was never much of a fan of late antiquity, but with the Ward-Perkins interview coming up I read his excellent book and then dove into Herwig Wolfram's, "History Of The Goths"and got hooked. This is such a universally interesting topic that I hope we can get a good discussion of the topic before the interview and this would appear to be the best place.
