I'm glad that a discussion has been sparked. I think there are some worthy ideas here. Some of us were considering the idea of having a sort of mini-webring for hoods in time, and I'm proposing London/Londinium as a test field - I can start thinking of graphics. I think everything is possible, as long as there is no confusion, and adequate links to all possible versions in time of a hood greatly help in this regard.
