The man was with a friend of him and in a closer look I realized that they are not from North, their skin was darker so as their hair. Their names were Gede and Nergal. Nergal was from Mesopotamia, a far away country which I knew only from tales. They bid me to their meal and said to me about their troubles.

It was new for me. I didn't expect that someone could tell me about his matters. But, than again, they were as stranger here as I. "Why shouldn't I try to help them?" I've asked myself.

"I'm sorry, my friends, but I don't remember any person you are talking about. Nor Odin, the Allmighty, don't tell me about them anything." I replied for their question. "But if your sons are here, soon or later, somebody will spot them. North is not so big as anyone think." I've drunk my mead and throw the cup away. They weren't happy about what I've just said. I thought about my own son - Thorolf, and my heart had bitten a little faster. "Listen now, I will try to help you!" I've put my hand at my axe and started to stroke - it always makes my thoughts clear. "If you want I can join you in your searching. I'm afraid that none of my old friends live here anymore and I don't know anybody, so I'm as stranger here as you are". I've looked at them carefully. Why I was doing it? I didn't know them, I've just came back home from a voyages that hadn't been short. "So, what do you think about it?" I've asked looking deeply into their eyes.
