one could build a Castle in Bavaria, Saxony, Anglo-Saxon England, Dublin (though this one might have to wait a while *g*), Burgundy, Friesland & Franks. I don't know about Swabia. Though, I imagine there were some built there eventually.

I expect it would greatly depend on what period the persona lives in.
