I knock on the door to the room occupied by our latest arrival.

"Who is it?" calls her voice from within.

"I am Lady Talis. Lady Louisa has sent me," and before I get the rest out the door opens. "Lady Louisa has asked me to look in on you to see that you have everything you require."

She looks at me rather condescendingly at first. With a sigh she finally speaks.

"Well, I have nothing to wear for this reception and dinner this evening. You can remedy this, no?"

"Yes, I believe I may be of some assistance in this regard. You and I are about the same size. I am sure I have something that will suit you."

She wrinkles her slightly upturned nose at this, but acquiesces.

"I will return in a few moments. Then once you are ready, I will show you to the reception area."
