You enter the last doorway at a dead run. This is it!! You just know that inside you'll find all that you've been searching for. This is what your whole life has been leading to!
Indeed, you find a golden statue of Ereshkigal that reaches the ceiling. In her palm, she holds a rod which is encrusted in precious gems. Around her are miniature statues of her servants and suffering souls. They too are gold or jewel-encrusted.
You drop to your knees and weep in happiness. This is it! Never again will you be heckled and ridiculed by your peers in the archaeological community.
"Boss? Is that you?" You look up to see Fakhr pop out from behind the statue of Ereshkigal. You smile widely, wishing to share your glory with your faithful guide. His next words quickly dash your feelings of goodwill. "Can you believe it? I did it! I found all of this! I'm going to be so rich! They will know my name throughout history. I'm going to be famous!!"
Fakhr continues, but you do not hear. All of your hard work, years upon years of suffering and this is what it comes to? Oh no. No, no, no. You look around for something to vent your anger and frustration upon. That's when you notice the plaque:
