I'd like to say thanks to the Germanian scribes, the demis and anyone else responsible for nominating me for the Volunteer Award. You guys are too much! I absolutely love the stuff I get to do here. For the most part, it relaxes me and makes me feel a sense of accomplishment. Getting an award for that feels almost sinful!

I'd like to say a few words about some of my fellow Germanians who have given of themselves and influenced me at AW:

To Odin Knudsson: Thanks for your sense of humor and for keeping us all on our toes. Your quest for fun and adventure is the life of our World. Your graphic talents adorn the homes of friends and Angels across AW, much to our delight. With you, I can always count on a friendly ribbing and a place to vent. Your Viking knowledge and hood contributions are much appreciated and your RP talents are enviable! Thanks for everything you do for Germania and AW!

To Aelfwine Scylding: Thanks for being such a great contributor and help to Germania. We all appreciate your volunteer efforts as a scribe and the work you've done in the hoods is par excellence! Thanks for your warrior-ly ways and your generous contributions to Germania.

To Anarane Burgundian: My dearest cousin, you are last, but certainly NOT least in my book! I look forward to logging on and visiting with you. From the time I was a dayling in Germania to the present, you have been a friend. You listen with an open mind and offer practical advice -- both for AW and Real Life. Your contributions to the board cannot be measured, but here are a few notable ones:

• Encouraging Newbies
  You make people feel welcome and a part of the group. That's very important to this site. When we feel welcome, we want to SUPPORT the site - which is vital to its existence. That makes you VERY important. *s*


• Encouraging the Hoods/Building the Hoods
  You are an ever-present encouragement to those who want to help in the hoods. Your research capabilities are invaluable and your enthusiasm for the projects is contagious. You are vital to the development of the hoods!


• Your Scribe-ly contributions
  You are always here, willing and enthusiastic. You brighten up Germania with your giving spirit and make it a place that others want to be.

Thanks for everything you do and have done for Germania. We will miss you!
