Once a Zen monk passed away. He was the favourite of the resident Zen Master.
At the funeral the Zen Master cried.
When the Zen Master was asked "why would an experienced Zen Master cry at a funeral of a monk?" he replied:

"If I do not cry now, when should I cry?"
