Standing apart from the main crowd, I had thought to go unnoticed. I was told not to make a spectical of myself, to be demure and keep my eyes from meeting any other's. "My lady," the words tremble from my lips, "You are kind to take pity upon a maid so plain. I shall join you at your request, but I can not tarry long from the company of my goodly Uncle."
My fan dropped as I bow my head and make a slight curtsey to her, "So please you, I am Aoibheann."
