I am honored to be seated here beside the lovely Queen Desdemona. This piratey Ka is surely enjoying the verbal pseudo-joust between two great Queens!

As she addresses her court, in total control, Queen Desdemona slowly runs her palm over the treasure chest's wooden lid, tracing the ancient carvings there with one slender fingertip. Without lowering her gaze, she finds the latch, thus opening the box to reveal its faceted contents.

"Well, most of them have been in the family for years," I whisper, responding to her curiosity, " Others... spoils. The spoils of battle. Still others were, emm, recently stolen, um.. I mean, procured, during my recent high~seas escapades. Thought you might especially like that ruby & emerald one there, on top..."

The Ka smiles at Sir Spethi as she is carried off by Othello. What a handsome fellow, this Othello.. With two O's in his name, there is no doubt he can please her!
