What was it about Akne and falling ? it seemed like every time he turned around he was falling down, falling over or tripping. This fall was a doozt though. He felt a great pain in his...um...behind area. Almost like he had fallen on something- or someone very very tiny. Groping behind him, he withdrew Ankhesen's mirror from the aching region and offered it back to her- for some reason she told him to keep it.

Getting to his feet, Akne saw a giant statue of a cat before him. It was a very pretty kitty, with jeweled eyes. While normally his greed would take over, causing him to scurry to the top of the cat to collect the jewels, Akne had been fooled by curses to may times to fall for that again. Besides, Spethi's breasts beckoned...sort of. Akne's fascination was diminishing slowly, and while they still looked great, he began to realize he could live without them.

"Hee heeeeeeeeeeeee I'm Rich" Tayfun screamed from Akne's right. Clambering up the side of the cat with tremendous speed, Tayfun began prying at the jeweled eyes. Aenath, Bubba Alli and Spethi all begged him to stop while everyone else claimed ownership of the jewels on the basis they had seen them first.

Undetered, Tayfun continued his work prying one of the jewels out until with a loud "pop" one of them tumbled into the samd below.
The revery jumped forward, each trying to reach the jewel first and claim it as their own; but no sooner had it hit the sand, it vanished into the ground below. The ground upon which the eye had landed began to crystalize while the remaining eye began to glow menacingly, lighting the entire area with a dark green glow.

The crystalized area began to spread through the room, freezing everyone it touched in their tracks. As there was little room to run, all soon found their feet sealed in the glass. the glass then turned up their bodies, sealing them slowly until it reached waist level. They were all stuck.

All, that is, except for Tayfun. Sitting on top of the cat statue, he had escaped being sealed. For the first time in his life, his greed saved him. Now if only he had some wine.
