Living on Mons Esqulinus as I do, I am most fond and most proud of my gardens. In fact, it is the truth to say that I enjoy all of the gardens on the Esquiline. What better way to keep out the stench of life and death in the Roman Empire?
I had an idea concerning flowers that never quite came to form until Livia Servilia gave some incitefull input. She suggested a garden tour. I have some beautiful pics of flowers by a friend of mine. Others may have some, not of the Esquiline but of other districts of Rome. Awwww, come on! Let's show the rest of the AncientWorld how pretty we are!
