I too recall Broom from AS, and am saddened by the news of her passing. Her willingness to share what she knew with those who had an interest made her, in my eyes anyway, a breath of fresh air in an often harsh and competitive world. A gifted writer and a lively cheerful personality her presence on the internet with be missed by many.
